I usually stuff random things in notes (using TomBoy) that I think might be interesting to blog about. Usually they build up and eventually get trashed – few see the bloggish light at the end of the tunnel. Except for today.

These guy does seem to know a lot of stuff, but some of the points listed are not legit.

It does not work with 1.5, unless you move the LivePress folder to wp-content, change a couple file paths, and add two require_once statements to call for wp-config.php file (otherwise, you will get undefined subroutines errors). I took me a while to finally get it to work, but I had to dump it because it doesn’t have a check box on the edit page (like the other lj sync plugin to turn on/off the function for individual posts. I haven’t looked into making the latter one work with WP 1.5 yet.
Agreed. Some of his buffs are a little over the top, but most are pretty good guidelines.

That’s exactly why I don’t have it working, yet. I started the process, but I was supposed to be studying at the time… so I suspended it. Hopefully I’ll get around to it, though. Luckily, I don’t have to worry about lj syncing plugins. eheh. 🙂 If you used a native app to write blogs, you could probably get it to sync with both lj and WP. Don’t know what to recommend, though.
